Welcome to the online home of the Syrinx String Quartet. We are a dynamic quartet of professional musicians, with university degrees in music based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 2004, our ensemble has provided music for dozens of weddings, receptions, corporate functions, and other special events. We would love to bring our musicality, experience, and professionalism to your special occasion.

We are based in Vancouver, but have played at many locations around the Lower Mainland, as well as Whistler, Harrison, Chilliwack, the Sunshine Coast, Gulf Islands, and Vancouver Island. We have a very large repertoire, including a diverse selection of standard classical and baroque music, as well as some tangos, a bit of jazz and classic rock, some Christmas/holiday music (both traditional and contemporary), as well as the exciting option of strings plus trumpet (for wedding ceremonies).
