Welcome to the online home of the Syrinx String Quartet. We are a group of dynamic young professional musicians, with university degrees in music, based in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Formed in 2004, our ensemble has provided music for dozens of weddings, receptions, corporate functions, and other special events. We would love to bring our talent, experience, and professionalism to your special occasion.

We are based in Vancouver, but have played at many locations around the Lower Mainland, as well as Whistler, Harrison, Chilliwack, the Sunshine Coast, Gulf Islands, and Vancouver Island. We have a very large repertoire, including a diverse selection of standard classical and baroque music, as well as some tangos, a bit of jazz and classic rock, some Christmas/holiday music (both traditional and contemporary), as well as some new options of music with strings plus voice (coming soon), and strings plus trumpet.
